Madrid World Championship Series Triathlon Race Broadcasted on CBC
—Whitfield makes season debut, Findlay and Tremblay turn up the heat in women’s race—
Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast will be able to catch two-time Olympic champion, Simon Whitfield’s season debut both on the tube and internet, as he toes the start line for a World Championship Series race in Madrid, Spain on Saturday.
Victoria’s Whitfield will be joined by two more Canadians including Edmonton’s Paula Findlay, who will look for her second consecutive victory this year and Montreal’s Kathy Tremblay in Madrid. The world’s best women’s triathletes will hit the Madrid course on Sunday.
