RACE SEASON IS HERE !!!!
FINALLY! The weather has started to turn in our favor and the 2011 Tri NB race season is here! It was a tough winter and spring but it’s now time to focus our energies and thoughts towards getting out on that race course and showing off all those new and improved skills you picked up over the past few months. Remember those long hours on the treadmill, in the pool and on the trainer? Well, you knew they would pay off and with our first races just around the corner, it’s time to step up, have some fun and get back in the groove of triathlon for 2011.
We are proud to bring you another set of fantastic events as part of our Subaru East Coast Race Series. This year, once again, we have something for EVERYONE. Your fearless Race Directors have worked diligently with their race committees and have race formats to suit all athletes from youth to adults, sprint distance to half Ironman, duathlon to triathlon to adventure race! Have you been looking on from the sidelines and want to get involved? This is your year to do it. Don’t be shy…our races are fun, geared towards all age and athletic levels, and are fully supported by dedicated staff, volunteers and comply with sanctioned race rules to ensure a safe and rewarding race experience.
Tri NB looks forward to another amazing year highlighted by strong attendance and participation, exciting races, smiling faces, and watching more and more of our New Brunswick population get “hooked” on triathlon and the multisport lifestyle. We are here to support you every step of the way and look forward to hearing from you throughout the season. We can be reached via email, through our Facebook page, blog and twitter as well. “Follow” along with us for all the action and updates.
One final note: please don’t hesitate to pass on your “thanks” to all the volunteers, Race Directors and other support staff who make these races happen. It can be a thankless job but positive comments go a long way and are always appreciated!
Wishing everyone all the best for a safe and exciting race season! Cheers!
