October 30, 2010 witnessed the 2nd Annual Tri NB AGM / Awards Banquet and Gala, headlined by Lisa Bentley and what an awesome night it was. IMC Champ and NB Sport Hall of Fame'r Garrett MacFadyen dropped by as well which was a welcome surprise. Over 100 peeps were in attendance and enjoyed a night of Halloween candy, a Race Director's meeting earlier in the day, year end awards hosted by Darryl Steeves, raffle prizes and a Felt B16 giveaway courtesy of The Radical Edge, slideshows, a key note speech from Lisa and more.Special guests from Sport NB, Cystic Fibrosis, Run NB and others were also on hand to take part in the festivities.
A HUGE shout out to all involved, Subaru (and Lisa) and Radical Edge and congrats to Marilynn Georgas for riding away on the new Felt...remember your friends Marilynn, remember your friends (especially those with vintage Quintana Roos!).
Highlights of the night? The rowdy hooligans from FETC in the back o' the room, cold beer, great food and company, an inspirational speech by Lisa, Darryl's crazy awards presentation and awesome MC'ing by Jon T.
Downsides? Umm...not everyone got to win a Felt????
